Ive come across a few. Do studios not want extra sales? 2 studios notorious for doing this are legend films, and mill creek.

It's happened on discs from the Hollywood studios. The people in marketing doing the packaging are usually at the bottom of the corporate totem pole. It's practically entry-level people handling the writing copy, which leads to numerous errors. There are also last-minute changes and simply wrong information on occasion that slips in before it's sent to the manufacturer.

Just copying and pasting. Sometimes they just copy and paste the DVD specs and the DVD region as well.
Fox US is bad as well, only listing English French Spanish options and always saying "Region A" even if there are a lot more audio and sub options. Although Fox International usually lists all the languages and regions. |
