Samurai Fiction & Red Shadow: Akakage

These are the only two Hiroyuki Nakano films I've seen, but I absolutely love them both and they're both among my favorite movies. I've had them both on DVD for ages, and have been eagerly awaiting blu-ray releases, but nothing has ever shown up.

Any idea on these two? I haven't even run into anyone else that likes or really even knows about these movies, so it would be cool if someone else had the story on them.
