Default Best Buy James Bond Titles Oct. 23

On Her Majesty's Secret Service Blu-ray

You Only Live Twice Blu-ray

The Spy Who Loved Me Blu-ray

I confirmed with a manager at B&B that the three titles "THE SPY WHO LOVED ME," "ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE" and "YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE" will come out on OCT. 23.

We both looked up the info on the Best Buy inventory computer list and that was confirmed.

That's the same day Skyfall premieres in London.

Perfect! Just a few days after the trade and save program ends.

Thanks for confirming that! However, it's very annoying that they choose to release these on a different date than Target and Wal-Mart's exclusives. At least I didn't waste my time looking.

Whoever said these were coming out today deserves a kick in the butt from everyone who went to BB this morning looking for these exclusives.

Today would have been nicer, but (since we have to) I can live with another three weeks. I have to agree with Mr. Cinema too. I wouldn't be surprised if this was planned to avoid the titles being tied in with Upgrade & Save...

Nevertheless, thanks for posting the info WVbkelley.

Has anyone been in Wal-mart today to see if their exclusives are out on the shelves? The site says Oct. 9th... This whole exclusives debacle is giving me a frikin head ache.

My Walmart has had these in store on display since last Friday. They were in a large 007 cardboard display.

I haven't been today but I think you might have a mix-up on the site, the 10/9 on the site isn't the release date but the day it would arrive for in-store pickup if you order and pick store pickup. A lot of people though have confirmed the Walmart exclusives are out though (and early in a lot of places) and I can confirm myself that GoldenEye should be out as my order for that film shipped last Thursday and should be here this week.

But I still agree the exclusives are somewhat of a headache mainly due to how these are being treated by their respective sellers, Target doesn't even have their exclusives listed on their site despite them coming out today and Best Buy ... well I'm not holding my breath on those anymore.

I can confirm, at least in my area, that Target and Wal-Mart are selling their exclusives in-store.

Went to two Walmarts today and they didn't have them; they didn't even carry the box sets.

Default Bonds at Walmart and Target

I had to ask Walmart sales people about the Bonds. They went and got them in back. They weren't out on the floor. Target had theirs out but one was for $15. Nice to know about the BB date. Saves me some time. Should have been released today.

They were...

Oh.. this isn't the Canadian section? My bad!

We don't get Goldeneye, Octopu$$y or Diamonds Are Forever today though, so it's just as bad lol

Isn't that the same thing? If I ordered for in-store pickup and they had it available today, then it would list 10/2 would it not? I'm just wondering. I NEVER go to Wal-mart for my blu-ray titles... EVER, so I wouldn't know how they operate.

Did my rounds this morning and came back pretty disappointed. I first hit Wal Mart and they were not on display. Asked the employee working that department and she indicated that the "Girls" worked all night and if it came in it would be out. She looked around briefly then looked her computer and it was flagged as online exclusive. She was very polite and I was polite back and left quietly disappointed.

I then hit Target and they actually had the 3 exclusives on the shelves but only one each. I asked the kid stocking movies if this is all they got. He said "YEP" that is all we got. So I bought these 3 just because if I did not I would not have them today or if ever while they are exclusive.

I then went to Best Buy and arrived early. Got coffee at the Star Bucks next door in anticipation of getting the other 3. As I went in I looked all around and could not locate any so I asked the white shirt stocker if she has seen it and she said she did not. She then looked at her stocking list and it was absent as well. She did not know anything about it but indicated its likely not coming out today.

So I currently got 3 out of the 9 I am looking for. I am debating on ordering the other 3 from walmart.com but right now I am in a holding pattern. If for some reason I can't complete the collection in a timely manner the 3 I got might be going back to Target and I will just wait for them to show up on Amazon.

Very disappointed in this exclusive "BS" that is becoming more common. Its very bad for the consumer and bad for the environment. I am glad I took my Honda Silverwing Scooter because it gets 56 MPG. I would be very upset if I made these rounds in my car and spent $5 is fuel alone only to come up empty handed.
