My God that looks tempting though schizoid as hell. For every good feature they've apparently added a poor one to counter it. To wit:

Good

- Donner and Nolan in conversation. Worth the box set alone
- Guillermo Del Toro
- The artwork and hardback book

Bad

- The cheap little two-colour toys
- Anything Damon Lindelof has to say
- The fact I have quad-dipped on these bloody films already!

Well that is the US version...I wonder what the UK version is gonna look like.

i still prefer the standard black trilogy box with the Bat logo on it. Nice and simple

If not the same then very similar like the French and Indian versions that were posted last month, The French and Indian one will have 9 discs vs the US 6, although the extra 3 discs are just DVD copies.

All I want is the bonus disc, so it may be a case of wait until it's cheap enough, buy it, take out the disc and then sell it on.

I may be tempted if films 1 & 2 have new transfers.

No mention of new transfers above so this is an easy pass. I really like The Dark Knight trilogy but not enough to buy this box set - Ive got the UK trilogy boxset already and thats good enough for me.

Looks like another version of all the films for me, I'm starting to lose count of the number of discs I have for this trilogy

But they're my favourite films so I have to get them really!!

I've always wanted to get a look at the 1.44 IMAX footage in proper HD. That might actually sway me!

I see the discs are stored in one of those book type packages like the Bond 50 set, awaits comments on how it will ruin the discs

I probably will buy this just for that bonus disc, the fact I got the last box set free certainly helps

Those toys confuse me.

Batpod: Don't remember it being gold coloured in the movie.

Tumbler: Don't remember it having orange parts in the movie.

Batmobile: The what? Isn't it called The Bat?

If this set has deleted scenes such as Bane' s training, then it's a definite purchase. If not, I'll likely stick with the steelbooks. I couldn't give a hoot about Nolan, who on a completely unrelated note allegedly doesn't believe dinosaurs ever existed or fossils are real, having a chat with Donner about Superman, or other random and unconnected film makers being interviewed about how much they love these films, and I can certainly live without little Hot Wheels toys. I guess time will tell as to what else exactly this set features, but I'm not holding my breath.
