Did not notice that due to the eyes buggin me out like jimidini said but good call.

I have every other Disney steelbook Zavvi has released (except the PotC ones due to them not doing all 4 films but I do have the sparkly US slips) but I do have a nice slip for this one already so not sure I will double dip now.

Much rather have a title on the spine than on the front if I had to choose.
Will be getting this. Another steel for the Burton Collection.
Kinda figured we'd be seeing this one around this time to coincide with the sequel.

While I agree, I just don't get why anyone would want a movie case that does have the title on the front and why this is a recent trend for steelbooks. It is not like these are paintings that get hung on walls.

Future Shop Ironpack is high gloss, excellent artwork, has a title, with great disc art.

Here comes Zavvi (again) bringing us a half-a$$ (actually more like one forth-a$$) effort.

It's almost laughable. (Sort of)

Most of Zavvi's Disney steels tend to look a lot better in person than they do in previews. Frankenweenie and Oz: The Great and Powerful come to mind. I'm sure this will have some nice embossing and gloss.

I like the film but I do not want the big, stupid Johnny Depp Mad Hatter head.

Give me Mia Wasikowska (you know, the main character) and I might bite.

gloss is a guessing game these days with Zavvi. There are very inconsistent. Look at all the latest Marvel steels.

and... emboss emschlosh imo . Some of the best steelbooks are flat with gloss, or maybe debossed. But anyways, even if this gets glossed and embossed, it still comes up short in so many other ways. No title.. No Mia (like seriously wtf?) and there is about a zero percent chance there will be nice disc art. Proly just boring blue or gross grey.

It does kind of bother me that they made an Alice in Wonderland film into a Johnny Depp vehicle. I mean, the whole point of Alice is that all of this is taking place in her head, that it's HER story, but whatever, I still find it enjoyable.
Discs will probably mirror what's already been released, and maybe at least the inside will have some Alice art, but I agree, they couldn't even feature her on the back, instead opting for the hat pattern? Really?
