10 years exactly after Passion of the Christ. Interesting. Church groups are buying out screenings. Ill probably raise my $45M estimate to $65M.

. I expect Noah to be huge, but not this. Son of God stars a cast of unknowns. Anyways, you are very informed about it and I am not.

The Wind Rises is only opening up in 450 theaters? Dang, I thought it was going to be a lot wider than that.

One of the perks of living in a big city is that they get included in these limited releases. I plan to see it this Saturday.

I wonder though if this will be a short release and the studio will rush it out to home video to capitalize on Easter sells.

Now way this makes it to home video by Easter . On other box office news...from BOM:

Finally, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire reached its final milestone this weekend. On Friday, the Lionsgate sequel passed Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest to become one of the Top 10 movies ever at the domestic box office. To date, Catching Fire has earned $423.6 million, which is a bit ahead of its predecessor's $408 million.
