Default R.i.p.d. 3d

I did search for a thread, couldn't find one. This is/was out today. £14.99 in HMV for those who are interested. There only seems to be the one Blu Ray release, including two discs, 3D and 2D. This isn't common for Universal, so i can only attribute this to the fact that R.I.P.D. was a colossal flop.

I got this while in the US before Xmas. I knew it was gonna be bad, and it was, but I REALLY enjoyed it. Yes it is utter crap, but it doesn't really pretend to be anything other than that. The only thing that really let it down was the stock ending which we have seen like 3 times in the last year.

I agree - it's a bit of mindless fun. It could have been better, but was no where near as bad (floppy!? LOL) as the reviews say... a bit like John Carter, it was dead before it hit the screen.

Watched it over Xmas (nabbed the US 2D version in the Black Friday sales) and was surprised it bombed quite so badly.

Sort of MIB meets Ghostbusters/Hellboy/Rentaghost (LOL) etc. For me, 'clean' look of the production design would have been better if it was seedy/grimy... think MIB base vs Beetlejuice Afterlife office.
