Too late for me - I already imported the complete series from Germany a few years ago - So many deaths for a children's show

Ditto, well I bought series 1&2 at least.
But Germany got new "Remastered Edition" releases a few months back, so I'd guess the Network DVDs utilise that source for possibly better picture quality (from memory the German DVDs had a bit of telecine jitter).
