Default Blu-ray Media Representative

If you could pick one person (male, female, real or cartoon, alive or dead) to be the sole representative in the media for Blu-Ray, who would you choose?

My choice would be Frank Sinatra - brassy, ballsy, larger than life and his singing voice with TrueBD AQ would be fantastic.

I agree with the Spielberg selection.
Mr. Spielberg is the most influential person in Hollywood by a large margin. The gross from his movies are more than twice that of the next closest director.
If not Spielberg, Lucas would certainly turn heads.

For the music industry I would choose someone like Fergie or Rihanna.

For movie studios I think people like Peter Jackson or Steven Spielberg would be the best choices.

On televison Oprah would be the best.

Doesn't she give out free stuff or something? So there's a few hundred audience members going home with BD players? hehe.

Oh yeah plus millions of people worship her and buy anything she tells them to.

So, good choice.

Steven Spielberg=Movie God

btw off topic-who is the filmmaker in those HD-DVD commercials? (It's the one where he plays King Kong in the Toshiba player.)

Spielberg for movies would be great... Honestly, you have to admit that Disney in general is a good push... I would love to see a treo of the big hollywood guys. Do like Spielberg, Harrison Ford and Tom Hanks.

Music would be U2...hands down. IPOD special edition went through the roof. Plus they are simply one of those global bands... That will be key!

TV is tough.... I would say the Simpsons would be funny, then maybe someone with a sense of humor to it... like Mr. T (someone said that...), or maybe David Hasselhoff... again, think humor.
