Now that the complete series is out, is it inevitable there will be individual releases on the first 5 seasons?

I doubt it will happen soon but it might happen for the show eventually. However, why not just sell/trade the sets you have and go for the complete set? I can't imagine re-released season Blu-ray sets going for less than $15.55 each anytime soon (which is the per-set Blu-ray cost for the Complete Series set).

I have a feel they will *eventually* come out, but probably not for a few years. HBO is going to want to milk the box for everything it's got before they cannibalize it for the individual releases.

Its just a lot of money to spend all at once.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Typically after a studio has released separate seasons over the course of several years and then finally releases an all inclusive boxset, you'll rarely see any re-releases of the individual seasons. I'm not saying it won't happen, but if it does, it'll likely be a very, very long time.
