I've got a HMV account with a Pure points card. I had over 73,000 points when I mislaid my card and asked for a new card. One was sent and I was told that the points would be transferred.
Before I had lost my card I used 70,000 points to get a £20 credit. When I registered my card I kept checking and I couldn't see my spare points so I sent them an email. This is a part of their reply. "Unfortunately you are unable to place an order via the arena at the moment. The reason behind this is that we are currently in the process of reviewing our rewards strategy so that we can make it even more responsive to the needs of our customers, but particularly our most valued and frequent visitors. This is also effecting our customers online account. Even though your purehmv card is registered, it is showing as no account found. We hope to be in touch shortly with an update however we do not have any further information than this at the moment." Make of that you will! |
