Hi guys. I wasn't exactly sure where to post this topic, so if this is in the wrong section then mods please feel free to shift it where it needs to be.
Anyway, I was just wondering, would it be ok for me to use the SD version of the THX Optimizer on my DVD for adjusting the settings for Blu-Ray? I should mention that I have already calibrated my HD TV with the T2 Skynet Edition which obviously had the HD version of the THX Optimizer since it was a Blu-Ray disc, but its been a while since I did it and I don't own it anymore, so I was thinking about checking the picture settings with the THX Optimizer on my T2 Ultimate Edition DVD. All I need to check up on is the contrast and brightness controls since the coulor and sharpness controls don't need checking or tweaking. Anyway, in short, would the SD DVD version of the the THX Optimizer be accurate for contrast and brightness picture settings? |
