I could barely make it past 1, it was so boring for me. The gore was okay, but no where near as gruesome as these squeamish people claimed, and the acting and everything else sucked, from I remembered.

Please, stop reviving dead horror franchises and make fresh ones like Insidious or something along the same impact, where it will do more for the genre rather than be another DTV stereotype.

Eli Roth had nothing to do with this one, so I'll avoid it. I learned that lesson from Creepshow 3.

Am I the only one who thinks the second is better than the first? Great horror comedy.

You're not alone. The first one was abysmal. The second film was a complete 180 - a very good horror film.

I enjoyed part II more as well. The protagonists were just more likable in part II. Also the scythe scene - wow.

I never even knew about part III until I saw this thread. Expecting the absolute worst.

I liked and own both parts 1 & 2 but I didn't even know there was a part three. This might be a blind buy for me...mindless gore

Wasn't a big fan of the first one, but part II was great! I will probably see this out of curiosity.

I don't think there's a trailer out yet. I just know it's direct to dvd.. suppose to take place in vegas about a bachelor party gone bad. The story concerns a Vegas bachelor party that turns grisly when the groom learns that his longtime best friend has targeted him for ritual murder

I doubt I will blind buy this one.. I enjoy both Hostel films...the second is a completely different take on the elite killers and I love the back story.

I'm surprised (and glad) to read so many thought the 2nd was better then the 1st. Thought I was in the minority.

For what it's worth, this movie is directed by Scott Spiegel (Intruder/From Dusk Til Dawn 2). FDTD2 wasn't that bad for a straight to video release so there's that too
