Australia Buying more than you can watch

Thought this would be an interesting little discussion to have.

As collector's, why do you think we buy more than we need at one time? I'm sure a lot of us all have a big stack of unwatched Blus yet we continue to buy more and more often than not, not just one at a time. There must be some sort of psychological explanation for it.

I know buying overseas, you can save on postage making one bigger order as opposed to a heap of single ones but lets face it, how many of us buy just one? :P

I have a couple of hundred dollars worth of unwatched movies on my shelves. Having them unwrapped makes me feel a bit better about it for some reason though. Yet, I continue to buy bunches of Blus at a time knowing that I have a huge backlog already.

What are your thoughts?
