Hi there,
I'm based in the UK and I'm planning on getting Minority Report on Blu-ray but the UK version is a one disc set with a a medium bit-rate encode by Fox; I was initially going to import the US version by Paramount which has two discs with a high bit-rate encode, however, it is Region-A locked. The Canadian version by DreamWorks however looks like the best with two discs, a sturdier lenticular (and guaranteed) slipcover, plus a high bit-rate encode. Exact version I'm talking about: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Minor...-Blu-ray/9611/ However, can anyone confirm if the Canadian DreamWorks release is Region-A locked, if it is Region Free or if it is at least compatible with Region B players? Cause I can't find a definite confirmation anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've just started my collection and I want to get the absolute best version of each movie in terms of av presentation, cut/s, packaging etc. P.S. I'm aware that the differences between these particular encodes is tiny regardless of bitrate but I still wish to get the Canadian version if possible. ![]() Last edited by Mitchings; 01-18-2013 at 09:37 PM. |
