does anyone know any RETAIL stores that still carry thor or iron man 2 slip covers? only retail stores please.

also Ironman 1 slipcover is very very hard to find.. and IM2 is also becoming pretty hard to come by, you may find IM2 with a slip at a smaller store. i.e. Pawnshops, FYE, Target, Walmart.. but you will probably never see Ironman with a slip in stores

your best bet is hoping a member is selling it.. you can find the slipcover sale thread here

Wal-Mart usually has IM2 slips. Not sure about Thor.

Most Targets will still have slipcovers for Thor and Captain America, but I haven't seen Iron Man 2 with a slipcover since probably September, when The Avengers was released.

that Walmart must not have a lot of traffic, what state do you live in? taht slip has been OOP for a long time now

I've seen IM2, Thor, and Captain America slips at Best Buy all the time and at walmart and Target.

Iron Man 1 or Iron Man 2? Iron Man 1 (2 Disc Ultimate Edition) with slipcover has been OOP for a while now.

I too have been keeping an eye on this too. Please post some pics when you get a chance. I've only seen the DVD of the IM UE in my local stores. Would love to find this for a reasonable price and new.

A few months ago, I found one new/sealed at a local store (Movie Trading Company) with a Used sticker on it b/c someone had traded it for store credit. Otherwise, I haven't seen it being sold as New since probably 2009.

last year i gave away 3 of them.. i got them from Blockbuster when they were going out to business, but other than blockbuster i saw 1 used copy with a slip at FYE a few months ago..

The popularity of Iron Man 1 continues to amaze me. Amazon is not flooded with third-party listings the way that a lot of other blockbusters tend to be, and the price for the 1-disc version has been holding steady at about $20 for both new/sealed and opened copies. For that kind of money, people might as well buy the 2-disc version.

Edit: Earlier today, I saw Amazon (not a third-party seller) selling this for MSRP at $39.99. They had 1 left. It's since been sold. Someone actually bought this for $40?

Yeah, that is crazy. I do my best not to go overboard with BD prices unless it is a boxed set and even then I do my best to find the best deal. Paying more than $10-15 for the UE just seems nuts to me.
