The Sinful Nuns of Saint Valentine Blu-ray

One of the first dvd's I ever bought way back when! Curious to see what this one will look like as it says 'remastered'.

Most definitely it will be interesting to see how this film looks now. I also have the first R1 release and it uses a very poor transfer, at least by current standards for DVD releases.

We definitely need more nunsploitation on blu. I would love to see my 2 faves, The Nuns of St Archangelo and Story of a Cloistered Nun make it to blu as well as some Japanese nun madness, e.g., School of the Holy Beast.

Despite the fact that it is often listed as such, Story of a Cloistered Nun isn't a genre film.

Funny how the times change, I remember being elated by the quality of that
R1 DVD when it was new, compared to the bad dupes I had seen previous to that.
Now we have all these obscure films hitting Blu-ray.

Not only great quality, all of NoShame Films' releases had excellent supplemental features. This, for example, is one of my all-time favorite U.S. releases (DVD or Blu-ray):



This early Damiano Damiani film is also outstanding:



What a terrific company NoShame were. With a fantastic team, always ready to please the fans. Too bad we lost them.

Yeah NoShame were great, I hope to see The Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh hit the BD format in the future.

Sorry, but I consider it one of the canons of the genre.
