Good news about The Epic of Everest too. I've considered picking up the BFC release a few times, but held off. Will see what Kino's relesae will be like, and then decide.

I think I'm most excited about Diary of a Lost Girl, but great news all around.

I would love to see Murnau's The Last Laugh on Blu one of these days.

Kino tends to port over all previous bonus features right? I have the two disc DVD of FAUST and that is loaded down with extras! I'm leery to trade it off and then something be missing.

I got the MOC of FAUST for very cheap and am satisfied with that. But the MOC's of DIARY and TABU never seem to go down in price much, so the KINOs might be tempting. Then again, I was very disappointed in their METROPOLIS and went for the MOC one. Will wait for reviews on all of these, but nice to see more silents coming out on Blu!

I've posted this before, but it bears repeating: I don't know what it is about a silent Blu, but nothing shows off my system better than a great silent film in a wonderful transfer on Blu. The vintage images just jump out of the screen like nothing else. For anyone that hasn't yet experienced this, you owe it to yourself to get an exceptional silent Blu or two and prepare yourself to be awed.

Already have all the region B discs, but glad region locked folks can now get these. Don't know why these took so long to come out here.

The MoC discs are great! It was nice seeing Faust in HD. I'd say the transfer for Tabu looks a bit better than Faust. Maybe I'll give Kino another try one day.

I for one love the cover. Already have the MoC version though. Took long enough to get a region A release, but I may double dip.

I've held out on Tabu so will be interesting to see how it holds up to MoC's version.

I second the motion for The Last Laugh. Amazing film.

Wow, I literally just went region free and Faust and Tabu were two of the first region B discs I ordered. I'm sure the MoC will still be the superior option, but c'mon.

That's how I feel and the reason I have held out a few times. I've been region free for a long time, but it seems a lot of times when I order a UK title it gets a release date announcement in region A.

I think I'm living on the wrong side of the Atlantic because the UK seems to get all the releases I want while RegionA we are getting a ton of obscure movies while the studio's hold out on most of the A-list titles or just take forever to release them.

Flippin' gorgeous cover art choice. It's a far cry from their Nosferatu insult.

I quite enjoyed Faust despite not being a big fan of silent films, I may end up picking it up on BD.

I'm watching for free on Amazon Prime right now. It is soft but very watchable.
Beyond the review screen caps, I wonder how they compare...
