Oz/Wonderland Chronicles: Prelude Available Now! - Blu-ray Forum

BuyMeToys has released the third Trade Paperback in their Oz/Wonderland Chronicles series, this one being a prequel of sorts consisting of the "Prelude to Evil" series along with bonus artwork and other stuff.

I have the first two and did reviews on my blog of both of them. They are truly fantastic reads, and the illustrations by Casey Heying is fantatsic. Ben Avery does the story.

A quick summation of the Oz/Wonderland Chronicles is such: Dorothy Gale (from Oz) and Alice (from Wonderland) have grown up and are college roommates in Chicago. They have no memories of their experiences in their respective fantastical lands.

One day someone from Dorothy's past tracks her down and warns her that something horrible is happening in Oz which threatens both Oz, Wonderland, and the world that we all know.

There's lots of characters from not only the main Wizard of Oz movie/book but also characters from the other books such as Jack Pumpkinhead, The Wheelers, the Gnome King, Ozma of Oz, Tik Tok Man and the Patchwork Girl among others.

Really cool stuff. I just called into BuyMeToys yesterday and bought the prelude to do a review of it. For $14.95 + 5 shipping, you get the TPB signed by Casey (him and his wife own Buy Me Toys which puts out the book).

I encourage everyone to check these books out.
