Next Summer we are planning to release Blu-ray Collector's Editions of both SLEEPAWAY II: UNHAPPY CAMPERS & SLEEPAWAY CAMP III: TEENAGE WASTELAND. Both films were requested heavily after we released the original this past May. No details to report at this time on extras, transfers, artwork etc.
As we start to wind down for the holidays (we will be out of the office from 12/24 - 1/5) we wanted to share with you this exciting news beforehand. We thank you for your loyal and undying support this crazy year (over 40 releases!) and we hope to entice you with more greatness and rediscoveries in 2015!

I know! And surprisingly, they'll both be individual releases!

I am truly stoked that these are finally coming to blu-ray! Especially part III, even though I love them all!!!

As someone who hasn't bought the first film yet, I wonder if this means a trilogy set is coming?

This is good news indeed. I hope they can pull together an uncut part III - then it'll be perfect.

Oh yeah!

I'll probably never sell my Red Cross DVD set with the bonus DVD though. It just looks cool on the shelf.

If it wasn't such a cliche, I'd throw up that "Take My Money" pic, because that applies here.

and Collector's Editions = posters. I love those posters. Gonna frame them with my Part 1.

I wonder if we'll get a box set of all 3?

I'm a fan of these surprisingly brutal sequels. Definite buys for me. I didn't care for the 4th one, but I'd buy that one too if it ever came out on blu-ray.

Speaking as someone who already owns Sleepaway Camp on blu-ray, I wouldn't really be in favor of a box set being released. Keep 'em separate.

I'd actually totally be ok with a box set being released, despite owning the first one. Could always sell it.

They can release a boxset. Just as long as it contains nothing different from the three separate releases.

I wouldn't be opposed to them just throwing a slipcase around the three releases, while also doing the individual titles -but content-wise I wouldn't want to miss out on anything or be forced to sell, then rebuy. That's getting old and fast with these franchises, IMO.

Thumbs up

I too hope a box set is in the works. Maybe even try to duplicate the old Red Cross set and carry over all the extras. You can do it, Shout!
