Question What are profile v1.0/1.1/2.0?

Are they related to PIP or something else? I heard v2.0 is the ultimate version of BD. I don't know what that means.

1.0 is what we have now, 1.1 puts a requirement for 256MB of persistent memory and secondary Audio/Video decoder, 2.0 ups the memory requirement to 1GB of persistent memory and an ethernet port.

Default 2.0

Won't ver. 2.0 add some kind of internet feature to the Blu Ray experience?
