Canada Brave New World (TV Movie)

Here's an oddity I found at the Polo Park HMV in Winnipeg.

This is the VEI release of the 1998 TV movie BRAVE NEW WORLD.

Although listed as an October release, the disc seemed to have been MIA from most sites. Amazon.ca lists it as "Sign up to be notified when this disc becomes available". It's not even in the HMV online system which is normally very good (they do have a listing for Brave New World but it's the modern documentary).

I have only VERY BRIEFLY checked the disc so this is not a full review.

No extras. It does have chapter stops. Encode is VC-1. Sound is Dolby Digital...listed as stereo but could be two channel mono. Image is fairly typical for these TV movies. Some DNR, a bit of EE, strong contrast. But the colors look very nice.

I was wondering if that disc ever got produced. Proof!

Yeah, I figured I'd better take pictures.

You know the internet saying: "If there are no pictures, it DIDN'T happen" .
