Default Guitar Hero III vs Rock Band

Which one of these titles do you think will have the best game play and replay value? I heard that the guitar on rock band has a kinda smushy neck, the buttons press below the fretboard, and that piece you strum doesn't make a clicking noise. Personally I think Rock Band will offer a better replay value as you can go from instrument to instrument and even do some karaoke if you want. I'll be holding onto my money until I can test both out.

I plan on getting both and playing both repeatedly. So it's a tie for me.

Initially GHIII is better because it's out a month earlier, and has LOADS of song on the disc. I think GHIII also has a nice new gameplay feature with battle mode and going against Slash and others.

Rock Band has a huge advantage in variety. Sing, guitar, or drums. That's cool. From what I've read it seems like Rock Band has got the better set up for future downloadable content. I think Rock Band is going to be more fun in party setting.

Both a going to be fun on a stick.

both for me as well....im getting guitar hero III to hold me over to Rock Band which I want the most....Rock Band will have a crap load of downloadable songs and full albums...including classic Metallica!!!!....so Rock Band might be more bang for your buck....I know Guitar Hero III will offer downloads too but I know not as much as ROck Band

I pulled the trigger and ordered Rock Band today. Guitar Hero III is a pale shadow of what Rock Band is and will become.
