Default The Dark Knight Rises (Exclusive Editions)

I made a quick search, and looks like I'm gonna buy two versions of TDKR only to keep the steel book and the Bonus disc that came in two separate editions...

In the USA, Best Buy have an exclusive edition that would have been perfect for me: It's the Steelbook with the exclusive The Dark Knight Reborn documentary. I'm still considering importing that edition.

Unfortunately, in Canada, here are our two main exclusives editions:

BEST BUY

Exclusive Bonus Disc with the Dark Knight Reborn Documentary

Link: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...c655ca6c83en02

FUTURE SHOP

Exclusive Steelbook Edition

Link: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...f1d0e9b3f0en02

And you, which edition will you get?

I love the cover art on the Best Buy Canada Exclusive. I reached out to a friend and I am hoping can score me a copy since 1) they don't ship to the US and 2) the US cover will be different.

Thanks for the info.

Cheers!

I was going to get the Target digibook from a friend in the States but since my order was canceled my second choice was our bestbuy exclusive. Target made my decision easier.

I too was hoping the Steelbook w/Reborn Doc would come to Canada, but since it isn't, I'm leaning towards the FS steelbook.

Is target not selling the digibook any more?? Because I can't even view it on the site and I was planning on pre-ordering it.

It's often very ugly to the eye.

Precisely.

The poll should be updated to reflect the variants. We get all the same versions as the US from the looks of it, but the players are different.

Costco gets the Target Digibook. Future Shop gets the steelbook while Best Buy retains the "Reborn" featurette.

I'm torn between the steelbook, the collectible Bat Cowl from HMV or that Reborn documentary...and that little Walmart Batman looks pretty cool too.

Damn!

Buying the FS Steelbook AND the BB exclusive....I want that Batman Reborn documentary and really like that cover too despite it being bilingual.

Shame it doesn't have a digital copy....would have loved to have had it on my itouch for traveling on the go.

I'll be getting the BB exclusive. Not for the exclusive documentary, but for the cover art. I love that cover art. The documentary is just a nice bonus.

That Costco edition does not look like a digibook, just the batman cover or possibly the lenticular batman/bane cover over the regular combo pack.

I'm goin' for the FutureShop Steel.

IMHO 30 min.s doesn't equal a documentary, it equals a featurette.

Man, I still don't know which version to get. I'm kind of looking at this as a temporary blu since the UCE will be coming next year.

In any event my choice is between.

1. Costco - if its not a digiboook (can anyone confirm?)

2. BB w/ Reborn- I was almost 100% sold on this, but I've been reading that thr documentary is just a rehash of the special feautres on BB and TDK

3. Walmart - Only if I can find it early tonight

It doesn't look like the digibook. Just looks like it has the prologue in it. Can't tell if cover is lenticular but I wanna go to Costco to check it out.
