Default Sharknado

"We've reached a high point in cinematic history, everyone. There's a new movie coming out called "Sharknado," and it's about exactly what it sounds like.

The Asylum is shopping a movie around the American Film Market this week that is a high concept monster-meets-disaster movie. Yes, it is about a bunch of sharks who get caught in a storm and wreak havoc on the world. Probably not the best timing for this announcement considering a Miss Hurricane Sandy who recently devastated the east coast, but clearly this movie is meant to be taken with a grain of salt.

The above promo art comes courtesy of Shock Till You Drop. The "Enough said!" tagline really says it all, though we're intrigued by the amount of devastation we can see this sharknado dealing in the movie's poster.

Meanwhile, Bleeding Cool has the official synopsis for the film. It should be noted that the titular tornado is actually starts as a hurricane in the movie.

"When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace. And when the high-speed winds form tornadoes in the desert, nature’s deadliest killer rules water, land, and air," the synopsis reads.

Well, now we know what we're dressing up as for Halloween next year."http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2012/11/02...st-thing-ever/

I bet this movie will appear on the SyFy Channel!

It would be funnier if the tagline was "Sho' 'Nuff!"

I'm sorry but......I can't wait to see this!! Probably never make it in my collection, but man, I loved Mega-Shark vs Giant Octopus. Where else are you going to see a giant shark leap out of the water to snag a 747?

And besides thought it was Asylum that did the "Frankenstein vs. Wolfman" titles ("Mega Shark vs. Three-Headed Fire-Breathing Rabid Wombat"), and it was Roger Corman who did the polyglot words ("Octosharkincrocknigatorguppy").
Quit stealing each other's acts!

The article was 2 months ago so it's probably never happening.
