Amazon pre-orders question

Probably a silly question but..
If I put in an order that includes a pre-order (eg. from here to eternity), will they ship this separately or would they split the order? I'm guessing they would split based on previous orders...but have never preordered before.

More often than not, it waits for the Pre-Order item to become in stock. I've had a few split by Amazon, but that is usually when the Pre-Ordered item has a delay on it's release date.

I've found that if the order has two or more items that are in stock as well as pre-orders Amazon US will split the order. Don't think UK split orders very often. In my experience anyway.

In my experiences they've always split the order and sent you whatever is in stock first and then the pre-order whenever it gets released.

I order stuff from Amazon UK every few weeks and you're right, they almost never split the order.

Thanks guys.....I'll make sure I bundle From Here to Eternity with something else released around the same time, to avoid any delays.
