This is great news I think -
![]() Marvel Super Heroes, ASSEMBLE! TT Games and Marvel Entertainment announced Tuesday morning that the next LEGO game would be, as many speculated, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. The distinction, of course, is that they're not just saying "Avengers" or "X-Men," meaning the roster can have anyone from the confirmed Wolverine, Thor, Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Deadpool, Hawkeye, and much more. The game is coming Fall 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PC, DS, 3DS, and Vita, so if you want to play the game, you have options. The story of the game is an original one, with some familiar elements. Nick Fury will pull together heroes from all across the Marvel Universe to stop threats like Loki and Galactus from ravaging the Earth. And yes, all across the universe means the Guardians of the Galaxy, Fantastic Four and other cosmic heroes - they are confirmed, too. In fact, TT Games promises a roster of more than 100 Marvel characters including both heroes and villains will be playable in the epic. Interestingly, the title is being published by longtime LEGO video game publisher Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, a sister company of comic book publisher DC Comics. They have been releasing extra playable characters for these games about a month after their release, so I recommend waiting to get them. I find that when I buy these on day 1, I beat them before the new guys are released and I don't get to use them.
The roster should be awesome. LEGO has been doing a great job with the Marvel Superheroes sets and I can't wait to the the LEGO renditions of all the other characters. |

Yeah, I have had the last two (Batman and Lord of the Rings) finished before they release the DLC, but really I wouldn't pay the price their asking for the few extra characters anyway, unless they start adding trophies or additional levels with the characters, and I don't see that happening.

I would LOVE a reason to come back and visit these games again. Honestly though, once you get through the story....by the time you get the platinum, they are such grind fests. I seldom play them ever again although I'd play the original LEGO Star Wars again if they released a trophy patch. |

the lego games are great for my kids.
they are easy enough where they can figure out what to do but not so easy that they get bored. my daughter is 6 and my son is 4 and they love playing Lego Harry Potter. my daughter likes to remind me that they are farther along in the game than i am. ![]() ![]() |
