Default How to add an iTunes movie to the Blu-ray.com database?

A friend was just talking about this movie (Collision (2014) https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/collision/id775228957) but it did not show up in the database here.

I can't seem to locate a link to create a new entry. Can anyone help?

I created it for you, https://www.blu-ray.com/itunes/Collision-iTunes/118337/

It was a little confusing. You need to start out on the master pager, https://www.blu-ray.com/Intersections/180721/. Here it is called its original title "Intersections". So if you searched for Collision you wouldn't have found it. But once you got there click on add iTunes. Add the id (775228957) to the iTunes id field and that would have been all that was needed.

I did search for "collisions" and it did not show up.

So in theory, every movie in IMDB should be there (possibly under other title), and from there one can create an iTunes (or other) sub-page?

The ID is in the iTunes web address you get from the share link.
As an example for Collision it’s the numbers at the end of the web address in post one.

I should have thought of that.

Hi TheDean.

Would it be possible to add the Theatrical version of The Huntsman: Winter War?
I have it ported from Movies Anywhere and it shows in my iTunes library. But there is no iTunes or BluRay.com listing for it.

Heres the link in MA:
https://moviesanywhere.com/movie/the...an-winters-war

I'm having the same issue adding a title to the database (iTunes version). The only thing I can find on the film is the DVD version. I can't find the main movie page for Illusion (2004).

Guess you’d have to create a new master listing first.
https://www.blu-ray.com/products/?c=...ion=addproduct

Once that’s done and approved then you should be able to add the iTunes version

Even though I could not find a master movie listing, under the dvd page there is this:

https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/Illusion-DVD/28589/

I was able to edit and submit digital copy change. Not sure if this was the right way to go about it. Thanks for the help Gonzo.

You don't need to add a movie title first, just use this link:

https://www.blu-ray.com/products/?c=...ion=addproduct

You can leave the Master ID blank. If someone later ads the movie itself to the movie database, you can link it then. Or create both entries at the same time (leaving the master ID blank on the iTunes) and then link them once they are approved, if the approver doesn't do it for you.

Hoping to be able to add to the database soon.

I’m a new member with 10 posts yet still can’t.

I’m cataloguing my digital U.K. iTunes collection, and all was going well until I came to “open Range“ .

It’s not there and now my OCD is going crazy. Lol

I've been trying to add Terrifier 2 and The Guyver to the iTunes database today but I can't seem to find the share link you mentioned to get the ID. All I can get is a weblink but the string of characters isn't the same as the one posted previously in this thread (I also checked it against Collision and it didn't match so I know I'm looking in the wrong place).

I’ve just submitted them both for you, so should be there in 24 hours or so.

I was just going to add Terrifier 2 for you. But as soon as I hit submit. It said one with that ID was pending. So it is approved now.

If you do a good search for someone in the moive

I did Damien Leone movies iTunes

Got this, https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/699059745 then changed US to GB and go this https://itunes.apple.com/gb/artist/699059745 ns got the ID that way

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/movie/te...2/id1647939071

Looks like the other member found The Guyver too.

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/artist/b...=recent-movies

Or if you are lucky enough to still have iTunes. You can click on the movie and drag it to the ID field.
