Which in your opinion was the best LOTR film?

For me, it's a tie between TTK and ROTK, but I might give the edge to ROTK.

Fellowship is awesome and the most Tolkien which helps, so my selection.
Think Return of the King is tad overrated and prefer The Two Towers which has better battle scenes.

The Fellowship of the Ring.

The only thing I didn't quite like from the Extended though, is I think I prefer the Gandalf dialogue more from the theatrical as they traverse the Shire going up to Bilbo's house.

I will always prefer Fellowship. It seems to have the least amount of camp and tries its hardest to be as Tolkien as possible.
