Do the Slim PS3s get YLOD?

Hi,

I had a 60GB PS3 at launch back in Nov 2006.

Almost exactly 3 years later it got the YLOD. I had it exchanged because I had bought extended warranty

Almost exactly 3 years later my second PS3 60GB got YLOD.

I considered simply not fixing it. I considered DIY fix it options. Finally I called Sony and arranged to trade it in for a 160GB slim for $99.

Do the new models of PS3s still YLOD? I'm pretty sure it's a design issue for the FAT models but I've read the newer model is a smaller chip and runs cooler. Therefore,... it's a very different design.
