Default Most Anticipated Comic Book/Superhero Theatrical Film of 2013

I did this for a few years, because it it's my favorite film genre. I love hearing people's opinions on upcoming comic book and superhero films! This year, maybe more than any other, many of the comic book films are not about superheroes. Still, mine is Man of Steel. It's got the most to prove, but the trailers were beautiful and it looks like nothing we've ever seen!

Pretty much a tie between Bullet to the Head and Oblivion. I had no idea they were based on comic books.

Bullet to the Head is French, I think, while Oblivion is actually adapted from the director's own comic book. That's pretty cool, in my opinion.

The fact that this choice was incredibly difficult is a VERY good thing. Voted for MOS.
I didn't know Oblivion was a comic book.

I agree, I love the fact that we're seeing such varied adaptations. It's truly the golden age of comics in film.

Any word on when we'll get trailers for Sin City 2, Kick Ass 2 and Wolverine?

I haven't read anything so far. Wolverine and Kick-Ass 2 will definitely be soon, seeing as how they've already begun releasing official stills and posters. Sin City 2 probably won't be for a while, since it's an October release.

Ironman 3 That superbowl preview looks so much fun, and demands to be seen in IMAX. Although, I am looking forward to seeing the other titles listed on the poll.

Wow, what a hard decision! The Wolverine, Man of Steel and Sin City 2 are all comic book movies I am VERY EXCITED for. But, ultimately, I had to go with Iron Man 3. Just because Robert Downey Jr. is fantastic in the role and can't wait to finally see the Mandarin on the big screen.

I'm looking forward to most of them but I really enjoyed RED and hoping the second is just as good.

I have to go with Man of Steel. Runner-ups are Kick-Ass 2 and The Wolverine. There's so much to like here though. I can't wait to see Sin City 2, I hope it can live up to the original.

I do have to admit that RED far exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to see how the good the 2nd one is!

Man of Steel for me. Been thrilled about it for the past few years, and it's about time Superman had a reboot.

I went with Iron Man 3. Followed by Star Trek (not on the list since it isnt from a comic) and then Man of Steel.
