Blu-ray oddities

This might make for an interesting thread, well in the last few weeks I've opned blu's with some strange and unique oddites:

Teaching Mrs Tingle:
an Echo Bridge disc that has faint "Game Of Thrones" Season Two which is an HBO title, this must have happened at the disc replication plant which obviously presses discs by BOTH companies
(one other member here also had one like this)

Jaws:
100th Ann gatefold slipcoved regular/normal bld/dvd como release:
has the regular red writing on the blu-ray disc, but the dvd has full color artwork (the latter I thought was only avalible with the limted digibook)

My Jaws DVD is the same way. It was the $9.99 BD/DVD combo from Best Buy.

one more, a while back I recieved a brand new sealed copy of one of the Mill Creek spaghetti western two-fer blus in the mail from a B&N.com order,but there was a major prob, there was no disc inside!, empty!, I was able to exchange and get a proper copy at one of my local B&N stores

Even though I do not own it, the first pressings of Catwoman had no name on the spine, I remember seeing a few of those

it has been corrected on future pressings

Though not a BD the only thing that came to mind was the first release of "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" DVD, the spine had Alex Winter twice instead of himself AND Keanu Reeves. It was corrected somewhere along the line, my brother had the misprint one, I had the corrected version.

I remember seeing those in stores and laughing. I always thought it was intentional to save anyone from having company see that they owned Catwoman.

Those Tingle discs almost look like recycled Thrones discs, like a bad batch was re-pressed or something. Very weird.

I bought what I thought was the single disc Close Encounters but instead got two of the same disc. One was in the spindle, the other just floating. I have no idea what's up with that. I got it from Amazon.

probably means some one did'nt get a disc in thier copy!

In my Girl with the Dragon Tattoo case, someone replaced one of my discs with a DVD-R that just had the movie title scribbled across the front with a sharpie marker. Not cool man!

I read a review on Amazon that was one star because, "I RECEIVED A BURNT COPY OF THE MOVIE. NOT THE ACTUAL DVD ITS SELF. AND HOW DARE THEY HAVE A SCENE THAT IS THAT GROTESQUE IN A MOVIE!"

I remember so many people being thrown off by the same thing when the Borat DVD was released.

I remember renting that from the video store when it was first released and the person working cash actually opened the case and specified to everyone that it was meant to be like that.
