Bride of Chucky [France] - Region Free, No Forced Subs

Just imported this from Amazon FR and hadn't seen much mention of it, so I wanted to give it a recommendation as it's fairly cheap and the presentation is surprisingly good.

The disc is region free, has DTS Master Audio, and best of all, no forced French subs

The AVC encoded 1080p transfer is excellent -- deep colors, just a hint of DNR, overall it really looks good -- and there are a few extras too (in SD PAL -- just cast interviews, and the French trailer, with French subs).

Very odd that there are no company logos on the disc, and it boots right up into the menu without any disclaimers, logos, warnings of any kind, etc. Maybe this is par for the course with whatever label released it, but I found strange. There are also no catalog numbers on the spine, the disc, or anywhere else! Maybe it's "unauthorized", maybe it's not...but it's the first time I've run into that.

Anyway, good stuff! The same label released SEED OF CHUCKY but I'm not that much of a sadist to want to see that one again, lol.
