Kind of nervous to buy any more Paramount digitally through sales or md2d now that Paramount suddenly has an interest in catalog titles again. In the last year or two I was pretty much focusing on Paramount since it seemed like they were mostly done with their back catalog, but now most of the ones I ended up buying digitally have ended up on blu. Either way, I'll take this one. Used to love the early 90s Magic rotation with Shaq and Penny.

I'd pick that one up as well. By no means a great film but it's Friedkin plus Caruso (good actor really but too much of a pain in the a** to sustain a career). A disc with both theatrical and unrated versions would be nice.

I pre-ordered Blue Chips and Necessary Roughness. I'll pre-order the Longest Yard remake once it's available at Amazon again (although I agree that the original film is stronger, I enjoy both for what they are).

I've never seen Blue Chips, but I'm looking forward to it. I'll eventually grab Hardball too. The more sports movies the better. Hopefully North Dallas Forty is coming soon from Paramount, speaking of Nick Nolte and sports movies.

There aren't too many football movies left waiting for blu-rays after these announcements. I don't think we'll be seeing a release of The Program any time soon. It was a Touchstone release.

Another football movie I've been waiting for is Little Giants from Warner Bros. Will it ever see the light?

I'd like to have Little Giants too. Shout Factory is releasing Little Big League on Blu-ray which is also from WB and was released the same year. So it’s certainly possible. I still watch the DVD.
