I just saw a trailer for this film Dandupalyam and by god it is gory and brutal. I should very much like to see it. Is it available on home video (DVD I assume, I would be totally astonished if this film made it to a BD release)

Actually this was originally a Kannada film called: Dandupalya (released last July)
It could have been a great film (like an Indian Clockwork Orange). The gang the film was based on were messed up. Sadly, the film suffers from the generic conventions found in South Indian cinema. Flashy Editing, Loud Background Score, and weak characterization. |
