The Official Ascend Acoustics Speakers Thread

I just realized that with all of the other official brand threads, there was not one for Ascend, so here it is. The place to discuss all things Ascend Acoustics related.

Their current models:

Sierra 1: Ported bookshelf with laminated bamboo cabinet. They offer several finishes including natural bamboo, piano black, and several new wood finishes. They also offer a set of port plugs to allow for more flexibility in placement and tuning.

CMT-340 SE: Ported MTM mini tower.

CBM-170 SE: Ported bookshelf, the 340's little brother.

HTM-200 SE: Sealed bookshelf, the smallest model, can be hung directly on the wall for surround use.

I can't say enough good about Ascend's speakers. I started with the CMT-340SEs across the front with CBM-170SEs for surrounds and now have natural bamboo Sierra 1s across the front and have moved the CMT-340SE mains to the back to give more oomph to my surround music. The surrounds are definite overkill, but they sound great when I put in an SACD or DVD-A. So, that is my Ascend setup, anyone else care to post theirs?
