I have finally started to use poly plastic bags to protect my more collectable cases. Like steelbooks, digibooks, digipacks, box sets, etc. In the long run I believe it will keep them in mint condition for the longest time possible and make them look more sleek and sexy.
However, it took me a few years before I decided to treat them right. At the bottom of some of my slips I've noticed edge wear from friction or just placing them back in vertically instead of sliding them in. And also on the corners of my box sets. I was wondering if anyone else protects their cases or if you don't really care. Have you always taken flawless care or do you have anything in your collection that have had some "tough love"?
