Kill Bill vol. 1 unrated??? - Blu-ray Forum

With everything going on w/ Disney trying to unload Miramax, and TWC on the verge of going the way of the Dodo, I'm starting to loose faith in "The Whole Bloody Affair" ever seeing the light of day. That said, my main interest in having TWBA, is to have all of the stuff they had to cut from vol. 1 to get an R in the states. While I do have a bootleg of the Japanese cut on DVD, I would love to upgrade to an official Japanese BD. Anybody hear any rumblings?

I would check Universal's Japanese websites since they have the distribution rights for Japan for any info. I haven't heard anything.

No news yet. I'm hoping Universal releases it in Japan, because I've lost faith in getting a U.S. release.

HaHa, I made my own unrated Blu-ray!

I have the Japanese DVD and the US Blu-ray, so I edited the cut sequences into the Blu version. Sure, that section is not Blu quality but it is upscaled pretty good using avisynth filters and I always see the uncut version when I play it!
