United Kingdom Amazon UK Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One - Avengers IMPORT

Will this actually be available to buy from the Amazon UK store as an import or would it just be the same as buying it from the US store.

They have two different pages but the UK one won't let you pre order yet

Anyone know what's going on, help would be appreciated. I don't want to miss out on it....to be honest it's the only thing I want to import, I'm not usualy a fan of importing things but this looks too amazing to pass up

I'm not sure if Amazon ever takes pre-orders for import items. I haven't paid any attention to it before but I can imagine they don't.

Really

Well thanks for the heads up

Do you know if it's worth waiting for them to get them in or just order it off the US one

I mean will they get them in to the UK amazon warehouse to sell them in our country or is it just the same ordering from the uS?

They will get them in the UK warehouse but the price will be considerably higher than a simple $ to £ conversion since they also have to pay import taxes and postage. It usually turns out to be the about the same price as when you import yourself (assuming you'd be paying the extra VAT and import duties). And with items like these you're better off ordering from Amazon UK in case anything goes wrong (damaged packaging or missing items). You wouldn't want to have to send it back to the US and wait for several weeks to get a replacement.

Thanks for the advice. Think I'll wait then and let Amazon UK get them in stock
