Default Kickstarter to Finish Animation Legend Ralph Bakshi's Last Film

This Kickstarter started about a week ago. I'm a big fan of Ralph, a great director of smart and mature animated films for adults that broke a lot of ground for animation and grindhouse/genre films in general, made a lot of great films with artistic and political relevance, but got treated pretty badly by the industry in the last part of his career. I don't know much about this film, the Last Days of Coney Island, the page below describes it as, "an animated cop, mafia, horror movie set in the 1960s in Coney Island, with political overtones both realistic and outrageous." (Sounds awesome to me! You can read more on the production below. I love the idea that the fantasy illustrator from Wizards would be working on this!). However, I know he was making it some time ago and had to quit due to running out of funds to finish it. This Kickstareter will give him the budget to actually finish and release the film to the public. Definitely want to see another film by him and I think he deserves a more complete oeuvre, so please pledge something even if it's just a few bucks!

Edit: The Video in the Kickstarter link has a tiny bit of nudity from the film Coonskin (love that movie XD). Nothing major, but I thought I would add a warning anyways in case you are at work or something.

Edit 2: Fixed the link. Oops.

Bakshi has made some superb films, although I really didn't like his interpretation of the Lord of the Rings.

My favourite has to be the completely bonkers Wizards, but I really liked how ground-breaking Fritz the Cat was.

American Pop is the only Bakshi film I care for.
