Official announcement from Blu-ray.com of the individual Season 4 release as well as the Complete Series Box Set:

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=5087

I still plan on importing the complete box set to the US (since there doesn't seem to be any plans for a US box set and it comes with an exclusive disc). I checked the region codes for the first 3 seasons and they are region-free but the 4th is currently unlisted (assuming it'll also be region-free )

Probably 4 fat amaray's inside a horizontal slipcase.

Previous edition was the same but it was digipaks and it had a bonus DVD

Don't why that one isn't available anymore...

Why buy that one, when you can get this one half the price?

I may buy it too. This is Region-Free, correct? After conversion, this only comes out to around $42. What a steal!

I would be tempted but from what I remember the series went downhill from the season 1 finale.

Since I already bought Season 3 at J&R for $9.99, I might as well just wait for the other 3 seasons to go on sale in the US. Had I not bought Season 3, this set would be a no-brainer for me. I don't want to go through the trouble of selling Season 3 and then buying the set from the UK, especially since the other seasons will probably all go on sale here in the US at some point.

Seasons two and three should have enough to keep you interested, unfortunately a writers strike and Tim Kring's eyes bigger than his belly didn't really help.

Got love Tim Kring for giving it 'the old college try' though.

Can someone confirm that the re-package is region-free like the prior release? I'd also be interested in knowing any differences between this set and the US sets.

I'm getting this as well; it's too good of a price to pass up, plus, it will be a nice upgrade over my DVD sets.

Aww they changed the insides to match BSG! Man I'd love to have the amarays inside, but the digibooks will do me. Amazing price too. I thought the £40 odd I paid was a steal, this is daylight robbery!

I know. I'm so tempted to sell my Season 3 set and just buy this complete collection at Amazon UK. Even with a great sale, I doubt I'll be able to find the 3 remaining seasons for only $40 total in the US, so either way, I'm getting a great deal if I order this from Amazon UK.
