Hi everyone, picked up a Panasonic BD10AK last Friday and was thrilled to get it. Blu ray 1080p plays just as I'd hoped-incredibly clear on my Sony 60" sxrd2000. But my issue with it is upconvering my standard dvd's. According to CNets' review on this unit, it's a top notch upconverter. I see noise-not bad noise, just not clear. After watching "The Departed" I noticed that the noise quietly went softer-I'm guessing my eyes adjusted. Is this normal for 1080p upconvert? If so the only thing I can figure is that after watching HD, upconvering just can't compare.
Any thoughts? -Chris |
