Default I need a TV recommendation.

Anyone know of a really good TV show that is done, meaning I won't have to wait months to see another episode; something that I can buy and finish the whole series with no interruption. I love TV shows and have watched: LOST, Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Knights of the Zodiac, Boy Meets World and currently watching Walking Dead and can't stand to have to wait to February so am sure there are some really good shows out there that I am missing out on!

It's only available on DVD, but I would suggest Veronica Mars.

Band of Brothers is an excellent mini-series with a fantastic blu-ray release. It's one I highly suggest owning.

Breaking Bad is a great show, and while it isn't quite done yet, it's in its fifth and final season, and the first 4 seasons are available via blu-ray, DVD, and streaming.

Arrested Development is currently only available via DVD and streaming, but it is, bar none, one of the best TV comedies ever.

I will also mention a couple others that you can find via streaming services, and they are 2 TV shows that had short-lived network runs before they were cancelled, but they are definitely fantastic shows: Better Off Ted and Pushing Daisies.

thank you guys for the suggestions!! I am leaning towards Band of Brothers, Deadwood and Better Off Ted and yea TV shows on DVD work too. I started watching Breaking Bad during a busy school semester and it was so good so I stopped myself and now will probably save that show for when I get older.

If you like Big Bang Theory, you'd LOVE Breaking In. It was a hilarious show that was like a love letter to geeks and geek references. Christian Slater was a riot.
The first season was awesome. The second season started out rough because of the studio's unnecessary tampering - trying to fix something that wasnt broken. But the final 8 episodes which never aired turned out to be some of the best.

The entire series (20 episodes, 8 of them unaired) is available on DVD through Amazon, DeepDiscount, etc...

If you really liked Boy Meets World, you'll love the show 'How I Met Your Mother'! It's like an adult version of that (:
