This is a 2010 interview with Friedkin on exorcist 3d. Too bad It would be a hell of movie in 3d. This movie scared the crap out of me when i was a kid and it still one of the best horror movie. It would have been cool to see it in strong 3d.

I bet a lot of people would object (being anti 3D and against adjustments to the original), while others would welcome it if it was strong 3D to really amp up the tension of one of the most horrifying movies around. So yes to strong 3D with The Exorcist. They would have to include the scene cut from the original, where she spiderwalks down the steps upside down.
Not many pop out scenes, but the 3D layers would add a lot. |
