Watchmen: Collector's Edition, Even more exclusive than the original Ultimate Cut? - Blu-ray Forum

I was so glad when they announced that they were re-releasing the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen in November, but I have yet to find a copy locally at the usual spots, (Wal-Mart, FutureShop, HMV), & the only Canadian site I've seen that has it online is amazon.

Is it supposed to be this limited in Canada? Has anybody else spotted it in stores?

PS: The reason I don't just shut up & buy it on amazon is because I got some giftcards for X-Mas I was looking to spend.

Not a sign. Yeah, The first Ultimate Cut was also a pain in the ass to find.

I remember seeying about 10 copies of the original UC at FutureShop the first week it came out & then nothing.

I know that this doesn't help your situation, but I've only seen them at Best Buy's in my area. Supposedly Fryes has them, but I'm not a fan of that store to go and check personally.

Never seen it in any stores (BB, FS, HMV, Walmart) or even listed on any of their sites. I eventually ordered a copy from the US at the end of November.

I believe you're out of luck as Amazon looks like the only Canadian shop to have gotten it. (And even they didn't have it in-stock until early December)

try Cinema 1 they always have the hard to find films/special releases, granted usually at a premium lol

Perhaps if you know someone in the states they can purchase it and ship it to you.

I thought this too. I'm not sure if it still is, but it was around $50 + tax at BB last time I checked. Then of course there is shipping, which can be pricey to Canada for some reason?

Yeah, I pre-ordered it from Amazon.ca when it was first listed. That is how I got mine.

I know the BB in Washington State had them a couple of months ago but I have not seen them since.
