I've been waiting on this one for a while! I cannot believe we haven't see a blu ray release on this cult classic yet! Anyone have any info on this?

Considering that there's a new remastered "director's cut" or whatever they're calling it out in theaters (it's shorter than the extended Anchor Bay version but longer than the truncated US theatrical), I'm pretty sure the wait won't be long.

What do you mean if I'm region free? Is the UK import region free? Would my PS3 be able to play it here in the U.S.?

No, it's Region B. He means, if you have a region free player. The PS3 will not play it.
