A Time to Kill / The Pelican Brief / The Client (3 pack)

I know I'm late to announce this, it's not new, but there's no thread for this release, so I thought I'd share it anyway since I just discovered it.

I already owned A Time to Kill and was looking for The Client & Pelican Brief to add to my collection. All three are AMAZING edge-of-your-seat dramas based on novels by John Grisham, and all 3 were filmed in or around the south, around Louisiana....where I'm from.

I discovered this 3 pack set in Target recently for $15 but checked Amazon first. Just ordered it for only $13.90.

I normally don't LIKE double or triple feature collections, but since all three of these are based on John Grisham novels, I decided to make the leap and grab it. $13.90 for 3 AWESOME movies is really a GREAT deal.

Does anyone else in here have these films in their collections? How is the transfer?

I don’t own “The Client” on Blu-ray yet. The other two are serviceable. Well worth the upgrade from DVD, especially when viewed in scope at 158” diagonal.

I wanted the Client but found this instead, and its a great price for 3 films. A Time To Kill has a great transfer, will check on the other two soon....

And I thought the transfer looked great, the best I’ve seen it look easily. Just like ATTK, it’s a very nice, filmic image. Nothing to complain about. Just hand the pelican brief to watch left.....

I liked The Client the first time I saw it and still enjoyed it on this triple bluray. The bonus feature was the pilot of The Client TV show and it was almost as good as the movie and the casting was great. Also a young Scarlett Johansson was on the show.

Just watched Pelican Brief and there's some things in the movie that resonate with what is happening right now in politics-hated President, Supreme Court, protests.
