5 Blu-rays for £30 (HMV) - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys currently HMV have 1264 titles in the deal. So it's a bit of a slog to go through, so I thought if members post what they get then it will give guys an idea what to buy or highlight a title they hadn't thought about. Assuming HMV keep the deal going!

The deals seems quite popular so I thought it would be nice to give it it's own thread (I don't think there is one?).

At them moment the 5 most popular titles are:

Taken
Drive
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Fincher)
Gladiator
Source Code

The five newest titles are:

Misery
All in Good Time Rite
Rite
Wizard of Oz
Jonah Hex

Just curious 0 have you heard anything back from Disney?

I don't think anyone's heard anything so far. Hopefully even if they don't respond they'll take some of the suggestions on-board. I can't see them releasing a statement saying how poor they are doing releases in the UK and they want to improve.

I found kashif's thread buried in the Deals but it hasn't had much traffic so hopefully the mods will keep this one (or merge them) here in the UK and Ireland section.

This is the old one, Chip - HMV Instore Sale. But your title is much more specific and I think makes for a more clear topic (no offence to the OP of the first thread who was posting about the instore sale before the online option was there).

EDIT: Finally, The Color Purple is in a sale! Been waiting for that to hit a decent, cheap price for a while. Now to find four more to justify it...

I ordered Black Swan as part of this offer a few weeks back, it's the BD only version.

I've got a few things in my basket but I was hoping a few other choices would pop-up over the next few days.

Instore is a different matter, as I have already taken advantage of these deals

Hey chip, I have seen the triple play instore - it's in a clear rather than a blue case. PM me if you gonna have it!

Got 5 titles on-line this week. Things that I've never seen in store (e.g. Last Action Hero, Dark Crystal etc.) ordered Tuesday morning and arrived in 5 boxes on Saturday.

Last Action Hero is one of my favourites Schwarzenegger films. Underrated but loved by its fans.

I think Singing in the Rain has been added since Friday.

So I'm hoping a few more £8 titles will be added.
