Im curious to know what films on blu-ray are mastered in DI, and which ones are telecined. I want to start an informative thread like the list of 4K blu-rays. I like newer DI mastered films because they are more vibrant, contrasty, and sharp. Older telecined films look flat. I think newer 35mm films are mostly digitally mastered in 4K, but directors like Christopher Nolan prefer their films telecined.
Please post any films you know that are mastered in DI or telecine and provide a link if possible. |
