Arrow 100 Bullets (Starring Tom Hardy)

Quote:
The acclaimed comic book series 100 Bullets is heading to the big screen, with Tom Hardy set to star and produce...

He's also got one major comic book movie under his belt, with his role as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. And whilst he ultimately passed on taking the role of Rick Flagg in Suicide Squad (that Joel Kinnaman took on instead), Tom Hardy is set to return to the world of comic book movies with 100 Bullets.

Based on the comic by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso, 100 Bullets is the second Veritgo property to go into development at New Line, following the planned feature of Neil Gaiman's Sandman (that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is working on).

With 100 Bullets, Hardy is on board to produce and star, and he'll likely be taking the role of Agent Graves, a man who presents people with a gun, and the name of the person who ruined their life. Then he throws 100 rounds of ammunition that can't be traced into the mix. The story continues from there.

The movie is set to stay true to the comic, and Chris Borrelli has penned a screenplay for 100 Bullets already. Now it's a case of finding a director and pressing ahead with the movie. More on it as we hear it...

Sounds seriously cool, hope this one makes it to the big screen.

Never heard of this comic before but if Tom Hardy stars then I'll certainly watch the movie. Sounds like a very interesting premise.

Oh Man a movie. I wished they made in a series of some kind like: 100 episodes of 1 hour. Is it gonna be an introduction to world of 100 Bullets kind of movie? I doubt that it's gonna be a another start up franchise and milk it for every penny for what worth.

100 Bulletsis a great graphic novel of exactly 100 comics from Vertigo.
I own 2 volumes of HC Deluxe Edition and they are without a doubt Awesome. Nice plots & twist and stories and character bulding. A MUST READ

Oh wow, really? Definitely be keeping an eye on this film. Brian Azarello is boss, and Hardy is class.

I agree that it would be much more suited to a TV show. I also think Tom Hardy would be much better as Lono than Graves. That said, I am absolutely in for this one.

What other have said: this would've worked way better as a TV show and it was actually developed for Showtime a few years ago but they passed. I have my doubts as to how good it will be since that Borelli guy's résumé consists of The Vatican Tapes, The Marine 2 and Whisper.
